Kevin M. Johnson

Kevin Johnson, age 54, of Lake Station, passed away at home on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born in Elgin, Illinois on September 9, 1962 to Frank and Carol (nee Savage) Johnson. He graduated from East Gary Edison High School, class of 1982. He attended Hobart Presbyterian Church. Kevin will be remembered for being an entrepreneur and a handy man.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Carol Johnson; daughter, Autumn (Mike) Nickholis; grandchildren, Alexis and Nathaniel; sister, Deanna (George) Dvojacki; step sister, Cathy (John) Harris; uncles, Dave (Sue) Savage, Harry (Marian) Savage; niece, Amber (Joshua) Craig; nephew, Zachary Dvojacki; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Johnson.

A funeral service for Kevin will take place Friday, June 9, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342 with Rev. Jeff Carter officiating.
