Kimberly S. Chavez, age 50, of Portage passed from this life into the presence of her Lord on Friday June 6, 2014. Kimmy was born April 19, 1964 in Gary Indiana to Charles and Marianna (Czilli) Eidman. She was assistant finance manager for Dr. Frederick Fedorchak. Kimmy loved riding her pink Harley and enjoying life with her children, grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Kimmy is survived by her son Christopher Moss of Miller Beach; two daughters Carrie Owens of Lake Station and Amber Eidman of Portage; her mother Marianna (Bob) Klunder of Portage; her father Charles Eidman of Portage; her three sisters Julie (Tom) Foley, Sandra (Mike)Hodges and Dawn Eidman all of Portage; her three grandchildren Trevor Foster, Olivia Hampton and Nevaeh Meador; many nieces and nephews; and her extended family Dr. Frederick (Ms. Veronica Kacmar) Fedorchak, Dr. Veronica Kacmar-Fedorchak , Lauren Kacmar-Fedorchak, Kimberly Cook, Magen Burriss, and Lori Madden.

She was preceded in death by her sister Charlene Eidman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with funeral costs.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday June 13, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
