Kimberly L. Fazekas

Age 63, of Lake Station passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born on April 26,1962 in Gary, Indiana to Daniel and Anne (nee Plummer) Dybalski. Kimberly was a loving and giving soul who always put others before herself. Thoughtful in every way, she had a special gift for making people feel seen, cared for and welcomed. She was a retired bartender, a job she truly enjoyed. Of all the blessings in her life, her greatest joy was her grandson, Sawyer Mauch whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her kindness and the warmth she brought to others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two sons, Brandon and Raymond Fazekas; grandson, Sawyer Mauch; mom, Anne Dybalski; brother, Danny Dybalski; friend, Roberta Simpson and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Dybalski and her infant son, Arron Fazekas.

Per Kimberly wishes there will be no services held. Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342 and cremation service are entrusted with arrangements.
