Lana J. Castro

Lana J. Castro (nee Ginn), age 71, of Lake Station, IN passed away o Monday, May 2, 2022.

Lana was born on December 13, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James and Louise Ginn.  She worked as a CNA, as maintenance at Evans Elementary, and for the model plane shop in Hobart.  Lana was a member of the Light of Life Worship Center.   She enjoyed her time as a resident of Life Care Center of the Willows and was well liked amongst all.  She loved to write poetry and draw.  Lana was well known for her quick wit and good sense of humor.  She was a dear friend to many and will be deeply missed by all.

Lana is survived by close friends, church congregation, and dear Willow's staff.

Lana is preceded in death by her husband: Gregorio Castro.

Family and friends may gather at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel (3781 Central Ave, Lake Station) on May 12, 2022  from 4:00-6:00 P.M.  A memorial service will follow directly at 6:00 P.M.  At rest, Evergreen Memorial Park.
