Larry E. Jones

Larry E. Jones, age 64, of Hobart, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018.  Larry was born on April 9, 1953 in Gary, Indiana to the late Emmett and Armanda (nee Montorsi) Jones. He formerly worked at United States Steel as an Operator and enjoyed being a lead singer in many bands over the years.  Larry will be remembered as a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Larry is survived by his two children; Tracey (Dave) Wilson and Jamie Jones; two grandchildren, Arianna and Alexis; brother, Richard Jones; two sisters, Brenda Jones and Lisa (John) Beller; nephew, Josh Jones; niece, Jessie Jones and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Jones, and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February14, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave, Portage, IN 46368, with Father David Kime officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
