Larry L. Kludt, age 67, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at home.  He was born on March 25, 1950 in Gary, Indiana to the late Rueben and Evelyn Kludt. Larry will always be remembered for his benevolent nature. He always put other people first and would give his last dollar to anyone who needed it. He adored his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. He never missed an opportunity to attend his grandkids sporting events. In his free-time, Larry liked to play pool, golf and go fishing.

He is survived by his fiancée, Claudette Younani; son, Terry Kludt; daughters, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Davies, Carrie Anne Kludt; grandchildren, Jamie Carter, Brandon Carter, Zacharee Davies, Devin Kludt, Chance Kludt, and Vaughn Kludt; great grandchildren, Cammie Carter, Selena Davies, Peyton Carter and Dominic Carter; brother, Terry (Diane) Kludt; sisters, Phyllis Worak, Roberta Kludt; lifelong friends, Michael (Annie) Deppe, Thomas (Rose) Lewandoski.

Larry was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Kludt; brother, Wallace Hurd; sisters, Joann Butz and Bonnie Brogan.

A funeral service for Larry will take place Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
