Lateysha Marie Pressley

Lateysha Marie Pressley age 31, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born April 13, 1992, in Michigan City, Indiana to Lamar C. Newsone and Melissa Pressley. Lateysha will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, and friend.

Lateysha is survived by her twins, Oshea and Olivia Pressley; her mother, Melissa Pressley; her father, Lamar C. (Jennifer) Newsone; her two stepsisters, Lily, and Willow Fields; her maternal grandparents, David and Betty Jo Pressley; her aunts, Amy Pressley, Deon Wagner, Melissa McDowell, Rosezetta McLin; her cousin, John Campbell; her uncle Ken Zeman and many other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Brianna Pressley, maternal step-grandfather, John Reed, paternal grandparents, James, and Dorothy Clark.

In lieu of flowers donations to her twins college fund would be appreciated.

A funeral service for Lateysha will be held Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1 pm at  Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. Visitation will also be Friday, January 26, 2024, from noon until the time of service.
