LAURA MICHELLE BOZARTH (nee MATHIS) age 31, of Hebron, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at I.U. Health Center in Lafayette, Indiana. Laura was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of Portage Christian School in 2000 and received a medical assistant degree from Commonwealth Business College. Laura owned her own craft business, "Created by Laura Michelle".
Laura is survived by her husband, Russell W. Bozarth, parents, Norman & Helen Mathis of Hobart, brother, John (Amy) Mathis of Hobart, grandmothers, Callie Vessier of North Carolina and Margaret Mathis of Hobart, 5 step children: Christopher Bozarth, Magan Bozarth, Joshua Bozarth, Elizabeth Bozarth and Harley Bozarth, all of Marion, Illinois, grandchildren, Eli Bozarth and Lexis Bozarth, nieces, Taylor & Samantha Mathis and nephew, Jasper Michael Mathis, many aunts & uncles. In lieu of flowers memorials to Grace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6240 Grand Blvd., Hobart with Rev. Frederic Lams officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W.
