Laura L. Vernon

Laura Lynn (nee Connors) Vernon, age 47, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at home. She was born on November 2, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Judith Connors. Laura was a 1992 graduate of Merrillville High School. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Milton Gasparis for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Vernon; sons, Dalton Vernon, Dakota Vernon; daughter, Jordan Vernon; mother, Judith Connors; and sister, Nancy (David) McCoy.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Connors. Memorial contributions in Laura's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023 Merrifield, VA, 22116-7023 .

A funeral service for Laura will take place Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
