Laura Zieba, age 57 of Hobart passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born on March 8, 1958 in Evergreen Park, Illinois. She was a longtime Hobart resident and a member of the twins club of Northwest Indiana. Laura loved taking care of her family, loved living life, loved to laugh, and was an incredible baker.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Zieba of Hobart, IN; twin sons, Michael and Rob Zieba both of Hobart, IN; best friend, Bob Zieba of Hobart, IN; two brothers, Larry (Stephanie) Kenny of Mount Prospect, IL; Phil (Dawn) Kenny of Tinley Park, IL; sister, Cathy (Lou) Prochazka of Downers Grove, IL; mother-in-law, Catherine Zieba of Hobart, IN; nephews, Matthew Kenny, Brandon and Michael Prochazka, and nieces, Alice and Katie Kenny.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Reznick, and her mother Mary Kenny.

Visitation is Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Funeral services are Friday, February 19, 2016 at 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel with Rev. James Wozniak officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
