Lauri Anne Dellahan, age 60 of Hebron formerly of Griffith passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was born on March 3, 1960 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Thomas and Ruby Dellahan. She worked as an Admissions Coordinator at Recovery Works in Merrillville. Lauri coached Griffith Girls Softball and St Mary's School Volleyball. She was an active member of the Living Stones Church in Crown Point. She was very active in Celebrate Recovery and was the leader over the chemical group. To combine her passion for ministry and artistic talents, she designed Fourth of July parade floats and did stage decorations for the band of brothers ministry. Lauri assisted in decorating and serving annual Veterans breakfasts through Celebrate Recovery as well. She was a leader in Celebrate Recovery for 7 years. She was a part of Freedom Bound Jail Ministries for 5 years. Lauri also ministered to women in Jails through the church. Lauri enjoyed art, especially painting and drawing.
She is survived by one daughter, Abbey (fiancé, Caleb Huff) Little of Sturgis, MI; one son, Alex Little of Griffith, IN; one brother, Thomas (Diane) Dellahan of Wolcottville, IN; two sisters, Linda (Dave) Bennett of Three Rivers, MI; Lisa (Curt) Burrow of Griffith, IN; caregivers, Diana Alicea, Debbie Aguilera, Fran Goldie, Jerri Cyrkiel, and Leticia Sanchez.
Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel. (219) 661-2600.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Visitation will be from 1:00pm-4:00pm with a service at 4:00pm. Private family dinner immediately following. This will take place at Living Stones Church, 909 Pratt St., Crown Point, IN, 46307.
