LaVerle E. Schaefer, age 95, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Brentwood Assisted Living in Hobart. LaVerle was born on June 27, 1919 to the late Clinton and Esther (nee Samuelson) Chalfant in Joliet, Illinois.
She is survived by her niece and nephew and many close friends.
LaVerle was preceded in death by her husband Willard J. Schaefer and her son, Larry Jay Schaefer.
