Lazar Krstevski, age 96, of Crown Point, IN passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the St Anthony Nursing Home. He was born June 8, 1919 in Macedonia to the late Jonche Krstevski and Depa Zulummovski. Lazar was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He retired from the EJ&E Railroad in 1971 and then worked for the Budd Company and retired in 1979 when they closed.

Lazar is survived by two sons, Bob (Luba) Krstevski of Crown Point and Atse (Paulette) Krstevski of Valparaiso; daughter, Jordana (Metodija) Kalevski of Hebron; five grandchildren, John (Janet) Krstevski, Tina (Mark) Wagner, Christopher Kalevski, Amanda (James) Bardoczi and Jennifer (Bryan) Ebersberger; grand-daughter in law, Vesna Krstevski and many other loving family members and friends.
Lazar was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Lalevich; his parents and grandson, Michael Krstevski.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday, March 25, 2016 directly at Sts. Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Church, 9600 Broadway, Crown Point Indiana. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel 10909 Randolph St., Winfield/Crown Point, IN 46307.
