Lecie M. Green, age 73, of Lake Station passed away Sunday March 19, 2017 at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Lecie was born December 9, 1943 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to the late Hugh Edward and Lizzie (Pennington) Vandiver. She was a homemaker, wife and mother. Her true passion was caring for her family.

Lecie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Gary Green; four children, Mark (Dinah) Green of Tuscumbia, AL, Diane (Brian) Stevens of Lake Station, Tony (April) Green of Hobart and Hope Mefford of Lake Station; nine grandchildren, Matt(Dallas) Green, Marie (Evan) Wideman, Bill (Sherry) Loving, Brian (Jeanine) Loving, Nikkie (Alex) Tuzinski, Katie (Ricky) Green, Jordan Green, Bradley Mefford and Levi Mefford; Thirteen great grandchildren; four brothers and sisters, John Edward (Ilene) Vandiver of Tuscumbia, AL, George (Judy) Vandiver of Spruce Pine, AL, Ray (Patricia) Vandiver of Tuscumbia, AL and Elizabeth Hester of Tuscumbia, AL; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Johnny Green; two brothers, James and Willie Vandiver; and her sister, Evelyn Johnson.

Lecie's wishes were to be cremated with no attended services. Rees Funeral Home is assisting with these services.
