Lee Andrew Ewing

Lee Andrew Ewing,age 74, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his home. Lee was born on September 12,1936 to the late Lee A and Anna Ewing Sr.. Lee proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a retired machine operator for Chrome Deposit Company. He married his bride of 52 years Patricia Ann (nee Chirila) Ewing on September 6, 1958 in Hobart, Indiana. Lee was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be dearly missed by all that loved him.
Lee is survived by his wife; Patricia Ann (nee Chirila) Ewing, 2 sons Mark Ewing of Valparaiso, Scott Ewing of Portage, 2 daughters; Sherry (Tim) Brown of Dickinson, Texas, Leann (Robert) Farley of Portage, IN, brother George (Shirley) Ewing of Florida, sister; Maryann (Carmen) Cammarata of Munster, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by infant daughter; Lori Ann Ewing, his parents, brother; Robert Ewing, infant sister; Julia Jane, and sister; Elizabeth O'Brien.
Funeral service will be Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Homes, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana. Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. Cremation will follow.
