Leonard J. Rudd, age 75 of Hobart, Indiana passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. He was born on June 1, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to the late Leonard and Sophie Rudd. Leonard was a 1956 graduate of Lew Wallace High School. He retired after 42 years from LTV Steel where he had worked as a Machinist. He was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Lenny was an avid golfer and finally achieved a personal goal by making a hole in one at the South Gleason Golf Course in 2001.



He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol Rudd; children, John (Carol) Rudd and Cathy Rudd; 1 grandchild, Stephanie (Tim) Perlick; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia and Alexis Perlick and 2 sisters, Gerry Gibson and Eileen Stevens.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Sophie Rudd.


Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 107 Main Street Hobart, Indiana with Father Dominic Bertino officiating.
