LES I. LUEDTKE, AGE 86, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at home. He was born to Paul Luedtke and Anna Hoeg on June 28, 1928 in Gary. Les served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. He owned and operated Luedtke Roofing for 47 years and was a member of Augustana Church. Les will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and loyal friend.

Les is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet (nee Hutson); 4 sons, David (Nancy) Luedtke of Holt, MI, Paul (Holly) Luedtke of Valparaiso, IN, Bill (Donna) Luedtke of Dyer, Randy (Doreen) Luedtke of Portage; daughter, Sandy Brown of Hobart; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Joan) Luedtke of Hobart.

A funeral service for Les will be Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 207 Kelly Street, Hobart with Rev. Charles Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery followed by a luncheon at Augustana Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W.
