Leslie  Bowen, 59, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home.  He was born July 8,1964, in Hammond, Indiana to the late O'Neal and Mabel (nee Leslie) Bowen. Leslie was a charmer and was very funny. Leslie worked for Burns Harbor Generic as a security guard and was a former owner and operator of Bowen's Tree Service, he loved and was passionate about cutting trees.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, cooking, and football.  Above all, Leslie adored his daughters, and he was so proud of their accomplishments. He was a Notre Dame and Kansas City Chiefs football fan and will be remembered for his outstanding super bowl parties. He will be greatly missed by all those he knew and loved.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Samantha (Brandon Laas) Bowen and Emily (Xavier Dominguez) Bowen; two brothers, O'Neal (Darlene) Bowen, and Roy (Ann) Bowen; two sisters, Debra Bowen, and Donna Benson; friend and mother of his children, Lori Pierce; nieces, and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, O'Neal Bowen Sr., and Mabel (nee Leslie) Bowen.
