Age 83, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was a resident of Northwest IN. for 60 years coming from Coatsville, MO. She is a retired Custodian for Meister School in Lake Station. She will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Letty is survived by her daughters; Karen Collins and Kathryn (Tom) Schmidt both of Lake Station, son; Alan (Diana) Janes Of Hobart, 2 Foster children Robert and Karlene Wolfe, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, brothers, Joey Dale (Marlene) Collier Of Iowa and Lloyd Collier of Iowa, sister Ina Faye West of Glenwood MO, special friends Phyllis and Joey McGee and David and Elaine Baldauf, many other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Janes, son Tony Janes, parents; William and Ollie Collier, sisters; Betty Reaves and Irene Gordy brother Jack Collier.
A funeral service for Letty will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Pastor Richard Brown officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery.
