Lillian L. Frankowski

Lillian L. Frankowski, age 90, of Hobart passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018.  Lillian was born March 9, 1928 in Gary, Indiana to the late Samuel and Katherine (Zygmunt) Sidor.  On January 25, 1947 Lillian married the late Thaddeus M. Frankowski at Holy Family in Glen Park. She was a member of Assumption BVM Church in Hobart.  She was a member of St Joseph's Rosary Sodality and Holy Family Arch Sodality. Lillian was very devoted to her church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Lillian is survived by her two sons, Mitchell (MaryJo) Frankowski of Hobart, Thaddeus (Rosemary) Frankowski of Brownsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Huff, Matt (Jennifer) Frankowski, Lisa Frankowski, Ben Frankowski and Steven Frankowski; two great- grandchildren, Emma Frankowski and Henry Huff and many other loving family members and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 beginning with 9:15a.m.  prayers  at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana then proceeding  to Assumption BVM Church, 3530 Illinois Street, Hobart, Indiana 46342 for a 10:00am Mass with Rev. Lourdu Pasala celebrating.  Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. prayer vigil  at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Assumption BVM Church.
