Lillian D. Hiskes

Lillian D. Hiskes, age 80, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at Franciscan Hospice in Crown Point. She was born on June 2, 1934 to the late Richard and Bertha (nee Terpstra) Vis in Luverne, Minnesota. Lillian married the love of her life John Hiskes on April 7, 1962 in Evergreen Park, Illinois. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Crown Point and a retired Dietary Supervisor at Methodist Hospital and Lake G. Convalescent. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend.
Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John Hiskes of Crown Point.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Susan Roper and Gail Buma and brother, Allan Vis.
A Memorial Service for Lillian will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11 am at the First Christian Reformed Church, 909 E. Greenwood Avenue, Crown Point, Indiana 46307. Burial will be at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, Illinois, at a later date. Memorial visitation will be held from 10 am until time of service also at the First Christian Reformed Church in Crown Point.
