Lillian Muffoletto

Lillian "Red" Muffoletto, age 80 of Chesterton, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017.  She was born on June 10, 1937 in Ensley, Alabama to the late William Calvin and Lillian Laura Byers.  She was formerly a longtime Portage resident and worked for many years at Joy Cleaners. Lillian was a former member of the Northwood Baptist Church.  She enjoyed quilting, working in the yard, taking care of everyone, cooking and playing with her dog, Butch.

She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Harrison of Chesterton, IN; one brother, Joe (Linda) Byers of Vero Beach, FL; one sister, Helen Krstevic of Vista, CA; and one granddaughter, Tiffany Harrison of Marina Del Rey, CA.

She was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.

Memorial visitation is Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a 3 p.m. memorial service at Rees Funeral Home, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Rev. Donald Good officiating.  Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service.  (219) 762-3013.
