Linda M. Bogdan (nee Else), age 66, of Valparaiso, formerly of Lake Station, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. She was born on November 11, 1949 in Gary, Indiana to the late William and Cleda Else. On December 16, 1981, she married the love of her life, John P. Bogdan. Together, the two of them owned and managed J.J.'s Pizza Shack. Linda was at one time the leader of Boy Scout Troop 430 and formerly served as a member of the Lake Station Chamber of Commerce.

She is survived by her sons: Paul (Hannah) Bogdan, Phillip (Cynthia) Bogdan; daughters: Windy (Solomon Cartagena) Goulden, Toni R. (Simone Wright) Bogdan; grandchildren: Richard Brian Goulden II, Sara Dawn Goulden, John Joseph Matta III, Patrick Joseph Esposito II, Paul Elliot Bogdan, Isaac Ryan Bogdan, Phillip Zachary Bogdan; 3 great grandchildren: Skylar Goulden, Lynn Goulden, John Goulden; brother: Thomas (Ruth) Else.

She is preceded in death by her parents: William and Cleda Else; her beloved husband: John P. Bogdan; brother: James Else. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to the Hobart Humane Society, P.O. Box 108 Hobart, Indiana, 46342.

A funeral service for Linda will take place Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, Indiana with Rev. Andrew J. Corona officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
