Linda N. Bugielski

Linda N. Bugielski, age 73 of Portage, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026. She was born on April 26, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Jesse and Alberta (nee Arnold) Myrick. Linda married the love of her life, Joseph Bugielski, on December 22, 1974. Together, they built a life centered around family, strength, and devotion. Linda spent much of her life working in various factories, including printing and binder facilities, and worked as a cashier at Gordon Kaye Store in Chicago. She was a hardworking and determined woman who dedicated herself to providing for her family. Known for being small in stature but strong in spirit, Linda had a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was a fiercely protective mother, a loving and devoted wife, and a woman who put family above all else. At a young age, she made the selfless decision to leave school to help raise her younger siblings, a testament to her lifelong commitment to those she loved.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Joseph “Joe Bug” Bugielski; two sons, Anthony Bugielski and Nicholas (Terri) Bugielski; her cherished grandchildren, Savanna, Matthew, Wriyen, and Cody; her sisters, Brenda, Elaine, Pearl, and Rosie; her brothers, Jesse and Richard (Renee); and many other loving family members and friends

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. Cremation will follow. A visitation will also be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
