Linda Coons

Linda Coons, age 71, of Portage, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on January 8, 1946 to the late Andrew and Lillian (nee Bennett) Cupka.  She enjoyed her plants, reading, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by son, Joe (Jeannie) Coons; grandchildren, Taylor Coons, Heather Novreske; great grandchildren, Michael, Gabriel; sisters, Lillian (Abe) Yates-Keen, Lucy Epperson, Louise Fraze, Martha Cupka, Eva Cupka; and her beloved dog, Max.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Marie Coons; brother, Andrew Cupka; and her parents.

Friends and family may gather on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 2-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368.
