LINDA L. MADISON HOBART, IN
Linda L. (Brown) Madison age 63 of Hobart, IN joined her family in Heaven on Friday April 17, 2015.
Linda was born July 19, 1951 on Travis Air Force Base Fairfield, CA to Donald & Shirley (Plews) Brown, their first born & the light of their lives. Graduate of Hobart High School 1969 & Hammond Jr. Business College, Past Honored Queen Job's Daughters Hobart. She was an accomplished artist who shared her many works of art to the delight of her family and friends.
Beloved wife & loving mother. Linda cherished & honored the memory of a son taken too soon. Linda's kind, gentle and deeply creative nature were expressed through her love of family and the beauty of artistic expressions. Linda always had a unique & spiritual bond with animals as evidenced by the many strays that found their way to her door step to be healed and nurtured back to health. Even squirrels & chipmunks normally fearful of humans would sit on her knee & eat from her hand. Linda will be missed by creatures big & small but especially by her husband & family, we love you Linda.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years James, father Donald L. (Diane) Brown, sisters Cheryl (Joe) Wytovicz, Elsie (Chris Ferguson) Brown, brothers Donald (Kelley) Brown and Riley Brown, uncles Bill (Izzy) Brown, Larry (Sally) Brown, loving In-laws James (Jean) Madison, Pat (Jane) Madison, nieces and nephews Jordan & Jesse Brown, Mike & Faith Madison, Mason Ferguson, dear friend Joanne Knapp, & her beloved pets Maggie, Chuck & Toby.
Preceded in death by her son Christopher J. Madison, her mother Shirley M. (Plews) Powell, mother In-law Dorothy, loving grandparents Hudson & Jean Plews, Emmett & Fay Brown, brother in-law Michael Madison.
The family is planning a private memorial service in Linda's precious memory. In honor of Linda's memory & love of animals the family requests donations to the Humane Society of Hobart…Or maybe adopt a cat or dog from your local animal shelter.
