Linda (Langbehn) Petkovich

Hobart, Indiana

Age 79 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, May 25,2022 at the Saint Mary Medical Center. Linda was born December 19, 1942, in Gary, Indiana to the late John and Merna Langbehn. On January 28, 1962, Linda married the late Andrew Petkovich in Gary, Indiana. She was a retired self-employed owner and operator of A&L Companies in Hobart and was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed doing porcelain art. Linda will be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her children: son, Michael (Amy) Petkovich; daughter, Sarah (Jim) Richter; seven grandchildren, Emily (Jesse), Molly (David), Lauren (Matthew), Tyler, Nicholas, Alaina, and Matthew; two great grandchildren, Freya and Poppy and several nieces, nephews and other loving family member and friends.

She was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Donald (Margaret) and Richard "Dick" (Marilyn).

Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday. May 28,2022 at Rees Funeral Homes 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Cremation will follow.
