Linda Reynolds, 83 of Portage, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024.

Linda was born May 25, 1941, to the late Arthur C. & Ruth E. (Luther) Reynolds in Chicago, IL. Linda spent the last 25 years of her career working for the federal government, including the Department of Defense.She loved to say, "when you have a good book, you always have a friend". She loved the public library and until recently she would read a book a day. She loved to play cards & you knew never to call her at 3:30 when Jeopardy was on. She could spend hours at the dollar store and Meijer, you never know what 'good deals' she was going to find. She was the best Grandma to Justin, who she adored.

Linda is survived by her closest niece Lynn (Tim) Haraminac of Hobart. "Grandma DD" to Great-Nephew Justin Hopkins of Portage. Nephew Michael Imhof (sons Trevor, Christian, Jonathan & Josh). Niece Kimberly Crain (children Christopher, Daniel & Michelle). Nephew Tom (Diane) Keehan (children Andrew, Kelliann & Noah). Niece Juliette Reynolds (husband Billy), Nephew Ritchie Reynolds (daughter Lucy), Niece Vicky (Tom) Tibbets (children Mac & Maggie), one sister and many great nieces & nephews and cousins throughout the country.

Linda was proceeded in death by her beloved parents & siblings Arthur, Richard (Gwen), Thomas, Barbara (Homer) & Walter, and her best friend Thomas Hallum.

A celebration of life will be held after the holidays.
