Linda Trzebski (nee Montemayor), age 66 of Hobart passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born on January 9, 1955 in Gary, Indiana to Enrique and Estella Montemayor. On May 12, 1978, she married Siegmund Trzebski at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Hobart. Linda liked to bake and was the official birthday cake maker for the entire family.  She dedicated her life to her family and was especially fond of taking care of her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In her free time, Linda enjoyed going to casinos and playing Poker with family and friends. She loved Elvis Presley and the Christmas holiday.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Siegmund Trzebski; son, Matthew Louis (Tracy Evans) Trzebski; mother, Estella Montemayor; siblings, Louisa Montemayor, Enrique (MaryAnn) Montemayor; brother-in-law, Eddie Cavazos, Mary (Jim) Bottomley, Noemi Gonzalez, Mildred Montemayor; and many great, great-great loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Alice Trzebski; father, Enrique Montemayor; sister, Lucila Cavazos; two nephews, Jose Gonzalez and Anthony Montemayor.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you with so much appreciation and gratitude to her nephew, Art Azcona and niece, Michelle Ramos. Both gave Linda a very special gift of life by donating their kidneys. This was such a thoughtful and unrepayable gift that no words can be expressed or described other than Thank You! As she stated many times, they are her heroes and allowed her to live many more memorable years. Linda's husband, son and the entire family are forever grateful to them for their amazing sacrifice.

Memorial visitation for Linda will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
