LINDA LOU WESLEY, age 73, of Portage, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1952, to the late Jack and Della (nee Wanless) Hedger. Linda married the love of her life, Walter Wesley, Jr., on November 3, 1972.

Linda's happiest days were spent with her family, going out to eat with her husband, watching her granddaughters play softball, and listening to Motown music. Linda was the matriarch of the family and a devoted wife, mother, sister, and Memaw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, Walter Wesley, Jr.; daughter, Rhonda Young; son, Walter (Julie Mitchell) Wesley, III; 2 grandchildren, Danielle (Dane) Humphrey and Lexy (Jeremy) Kerber; 3 great grandchildren, Dane II, Blake, and Cade; 5 siblings, Jack Hedger, Johnny (Lori) Hedger, Betty (Mike) Pilnock, Dan (Rhonda) Hedger, Gary (Rose) Hedger; and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny Hedger.

Cremation entrusted to Rees Funeral Homes, Hobart Chapel. The family will gather privately to honor her life.
