Obituary
LISA SLADE, age 44, of Portage, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 4, 1970 In Abington, Pennsylvania. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Portage School System. She was a longtime resident of Portage and a member of Portage Christian Church. Lisa will be deeply missed.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Eddie Slade; daughter, Jessica Goodwin and son, Christopher Moore; parents, Carmen and Joseph Rhone; brothers, Anthony Fricke and Andy Ewald; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lisa's family.
A memorial visitation for Lisa will be Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, (219) 762-3013.
