Lisa Ann Thompson, 61, of Hobart passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024.  She was born May 16, 1963, in Gary, Indiana to Leland and Margaret Thompson.

Lisa graduated from Hobart High School in 1981.  She loved books and could often be found in her chair reading.  Mostly, Lisa enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and her great grandson.

Lisa is survived by her father, Leland; daughter, Candice (Aaron Spain) Martinez; grandchildren, Santino Martinez, John Martinez, and Mia-Francesca Spain; great grandson, Gionni Martinez; brother, Jack Horbovetz; nephew, Aaron (Kellie) Horbovetz and their sons, Aiden and Maddox; nephew Dave (Amber) Horbovetz and their son, Gage; niece, Shuana Crane; and nephews, Michael and Chris Horbovetz.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Thompson; and brothers, Lee Thompson, and Dan Horbovetz.

No services are planned at this time, but a celebration of life will take place on Sunday, June 9th, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Jack's home.
