Lloyd Leo Overton

Lloyd L. Overton, age 77, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at home. He was born on April 10, 1948, in Gary, Indiana to the late Lloyd and Ruth Overton. Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was employed as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing and watching stock car racing and WWE Wrestling. He also enjoyed playing guitar and had a love for classic rock.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Lindsay) Overton; granddaughter, Ashley Overton; brothers, Wayne (Debbie) Overton, Bill (Barbara) Overton; sister-in-law, Susan Overton; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ruth Overton; his beloved wife, Christine Overton; brothers, Clifford Overton and Rex Overton.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
