Lois M Garrison Russell (nee Mander), age 91, of Portage, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014. She was born April 1, 1923 in Garyton, Indiana to the late John and Molly Mander.

Lois is survived by her husband, Harold Russell; sons, Bruce (Carolyn) Garrison, Brent (Margaret) Garrison; step son, Thomas (Linda ) Russell; grandchildren, Arthur James Garrison, Elizabethanne Bentley, Joanna Ruth Shoemaker and Christa Rose Garrison; step grandchildren, Dale West, David West, Donald West, Timothy Russell and Lynn Kennedy; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur C Garrison; brother, John Mander and sister, Marybelle Sherman. Memorial contributions in Lois' name may be made to First Baptist Church of Portage, 6129 Mulberry Avenue, PO Box 34, Portage, IN 46368.

A Funeral Service will take place Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, with Pastor Terry Gibson officiating.
