Lorna J. Bumgarner age 82 a longtime Portage resident went to be with Jesus on February 2, 2019.  She was a longtime member of the Portage Evangelical Covenant Church where she also served as a Preschool teacher.

Lorna is survived by two sons, Gregory (Kerry) Bumgarner of Portage, IN;  Vincent (Charlotte) Bumgarner of FL; two daughters, Susan (David) Elliott of Portage, IN; Patricia (Michael) Najar of Fairfield, OH; one sister, Alice (Samuel) Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO; eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter L. Bumgarner.

Funeral services are Monday, February 11, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Dave Bauer officiating.  Burial will follow at Blake Cemetery, Portage.  Visitation is Monday, February 11, 2019  just prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.  (219) 762-3013 or online at www.Reesfuneralhomes.com .
