Louise Crane

Age 64 of Hobart passed away August 13, 2024. She was born on June 15, 1960, in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Clyde Harold and Marjorie Grace (nee Fisher) Johnson. On June 21, 1986, Louise married the love of her life Jeffery Crane, and they spent 38 loving years together.

She enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and spending time with Jeffery. In earlier years Louise and Jeffery attended many Rock and Roll concerts and fairs together. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery Crane; two brothers, Richard (Melissa) Johnson and Rob Johnson; sister, Barb (Michael Clay) Johnson; brother in law, Dennis Crane; two sisters-in-law, Dannielle (Ed) Roszkowski, and Karen Opperman; nephews, Peter, Aaron, Raymond III, Michael, Andy  and Jerry; nieces, Chrissie , Laura, Annette, and two great nieces and two great nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Jesse Johnson.

A funeral service for Louise will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home,  Hobart Chapel.
