Louise Duncan

Louise Duncan, age 94, of Hobart passed away Monday June 19, 2017 in the Brookdale Senior Living Center in Portage. She was born July 24, 1922 in Crittenden County, Kentucky to the late Gus and Gracie (Asbridge) Crouch. She retired from Broadway Methodist Hospital where she worked as a receptionist. She married the love of her life Willie Duncan on December 24, 1937 in Marion, Kentucky. She was a former member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Caroline Sue (Kenneth) Miller of Hobart; her grandson, Kenneth E. (Shari) Miller of Hobart; her great grandchildren, Rebekah, Brittany and Derrick; her sister Opal Martin of Hobart; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, her parents, her brother Milton Crouch, and two sisters Marie Short and Ruby Brown.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday June 22, 2017 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial will follow in McCool Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
