LUCILLE M. REINERT (nee BROWN), age 84, of Michigan City, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City. Lucille was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and a member of the Vivians in Valparaiso. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hobart.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Arthur, Jr.) Craig of Michigan City, daughter-in-law, Gayle Reinert of Valparaiso, 4 brothers, Gerald Brown of Florida, Donald (Diane) Brown of Hobart, Larry (Sally) Brown of Hobart and William (Isabel) Brown of Portage, 4 grandchildren: Arthur III (Shelley) Craig, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Marlow; Jonathan & Katherine Reinert, 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Reinert, Jr., son, Earl Reinert III, daughter, Loretta Goode and brother, Emmett Brown.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11 am at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Jonathan Gosser officiating. Entombment will follow at Graceland Cemetery Mausoleum in Valparaiso. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
