LUCILLE A. SZELINSKI, age 80, of Portage, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012. Lucille was a longtime Portage resident for over 40 years and member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Lucille was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Lucille is survived by 2 sons, David Szelinski of Portage, Randy (Deeana) Szelinski of Shreveport, LA and 2 daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Dever of Valparaiso and Kim Szelinski of Portage, 7 grandchildren: Jennifer, Mike, Peggy, Falynn, Ray Tony and Jimmy, brother, David (Maryann) Mosele of South Holland, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Albert "Snuffy" Szelinski and son, Raymond.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10 am at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd., Portage, with Rev. Andrew J. Corona officiating. She will be taken to church Wednesday morning at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
