Lucille Wilson, age 93, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Thursday March 2, 2023, in her home. Lucille was born August 24, 1929, in Perkins, Kentucky to the late Henry and Nancy Lou (Hayes) Boyd. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She deeply loved and will be missed by her family. Lucille and Calvin were founding members of the Portage Church of Christ. She was a devout member of the Church the rest of her life. She loved reading, working crossword puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family.

Lucille is survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Cindy) Wilson of Naples, FL, and Amy (Michael) Hendrickson of Valparaiso; three great grandchildren, Devin, Isiah, and Jimmy; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Wilson; her parents; seven brothers and sisters, Josephine Hill, Gladys Lykins, Harold Boyd, Maude Wrenn, William Boyd, Jesse Boyd, and James Boyd.

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday March 10, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday March 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Grandson, Michael Wilson, Jr., to officiate. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
