Luis F. Caballero Jr., Age 41, of Hobart passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 28. Luis was born July 29, 1975 in Chicago, IL. He leaves behind his parents, Luis and Lucy Caballero, his siblings David and Maribel Caballero, as well as his beautiful children, Melissa and Thomas Caballero. He also leaves behind his wife, Mara Radusin and their five step children, Adriana, Robert, Brandon, Anthony, and Mischa Radusin.

Luis was kind hearted, never quick to judge, and always loved making those around him laugh. He had a lifelong passion for music that embodied his Puerto Rican heritage and his love for all things Adidas. He was the heartbeat of the party when he was performing as DJ Shorty. Luis was an avid movie buff, and his perfect night was watching movie marathons with the family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1st at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342 from 2:00pm – 8:00 pm with prayer services starting at 6:00 pm. Prayer Services will be on Friday June 2nd at Rees Funeral Home at 11:00am. Burial Services to follow at Evergreen Memorial Park at 11:00 am.
