Luz Maria (Maldonado) Feliciano, age 90, of Gary passed away Saturday September 5, 2020 in South Lake Methodist Hospital.  Luz was born October 15, 1929 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Lola (Cruz) Maldonado. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church and was a former member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Luz is survived by her four sons, Leonardo Feliciano Jr. of Crown Point, Noel Feliciano of Gary, Edwin (Amy) Feliciano of Crown Point and Eric (Tina) Feliciano of Merrillville; three daughters, Gladys (James) Osby of Valparaiso, Noemi (James) Boswell of Chesterton, Lucy (Jaime) Jaime of Valparaiso; 14 grandchildren, Anthony, Elisia, Elizabeth , Leo, Marissa, Kathleen, Nick, Alex, Candice, Jon, Anna, Katherine, Mara and Sebastian; five great-grandchildren, TJ, Austin, Noah, Hayden and Aila, and many other loving family members and friends. Luz was preceded in death by her loving husband Leonardo, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
A Funeral Service for Luz will take place Thursday September 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Hobart. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home.
