Lynda M. (Strine) Anderson, age 74 of Lake Station passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born on September 24, 1950, in Gary, Indiana to the late Otto and Lillian Strine. She married Terrill Anderson in 1968 in Hobart. Despite her very humble demeanor, Lynda was an incredibly strong person. She was hardworking, selfless and quiet. She loved crafts and arranging flowers. A devout Christian, she enjoyed her apps that gave her daily affirmations of her faith. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, T.J. Anderson; daughters, Penny (Dan) Ambler, Lisa (Chad) Dopiriak, Heather (Thomas) Anderson; grandchildren, Megan (Keith) Wells, Brittany (John) Eurick, Dustin (Lauren) Morse, Chad Dopiriak, Ryan Gonzalez, Triston Anderson, Nathan Gonzalez, Jonathon Ambler, Kadie (David Sass) Dopiriak; great grandchildren, Akylia Eurick, Aubree, Dopiriak, Bella Sass, Madelyn Sass, Harper Sass, Austin Dopiriak, Dakota Dopiriak, Jackson Wells, and Kiyler Gonzalez; brothers, Jim Strine, Bob (Grace) Strine, Kevin (Jennifer) Hanat, Walter (Yvonne) Strine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Strine and Lillian Strine-Godfrey; her husband, Terrill L. Anderson; and great grandson, Oliver Lee.

Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station.
