Lynette Margaret O'Brien

LYNETTE MARGARET O'BRIEN, age 70, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024.  She was born on January 3, 1954 to the late Frank and Laurel Stickels. Lynette worked for many years as a nurse in Labor and Delivery and was happiest when she was holding a baby.  She finished her nursing career in home healthcare, where she went above and beyond for her patients.  Lynette loved her kids and grandkids and cherished the time she was able to spend with them.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Daniel O'Brien.

Lynette is survived by her 3 children, Lydia (John) DaVaney, Laurel (David) Long, and Jacob (Stormy) O'Brien ; 4 grandchildren, Alexus, Madison, Allison, and Olivia; brothers, David (Brenda) Stickels, and Mark (Ann) Stickels; sister, Lisa Bale; other loving family and dear friends.

Visitation for Lynette will be Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W.
