M. Lois Wright, age 76 of Hobart passed away Friday, December 7, 2012. She was born on October 17, 1936 in Winamac, Indiana to the late Linn and Georgianne Vanaman. She loved Bingo and worked for many years at AHEPA Bingo Hall where she called Bingo. Lois crocheted many hats for underprivileged children and the Shriners Hospitals. She will be remembered by her family as a very loving mother and grandmother that was a friend to many and had a heart of gold.
She is survived by 4 children, Raymond L. Wright of Portage, IN; Bruce (Lori) Wright of Valparaiso, IN; Sheryl Raffaelli of Hobart, IN; Alisa (Mike Keefe) Wright of Portage, IN; 1 sister, Ann (John) Marcrom of Lake Station, IN; 8 grandchildren, Justin, Jamie, Jeromy, Jessica, Chad (Ashlee), Jonelle, Ashley, Jamie, and Jackie, 4 great-grandchildren, Jaelyn, Alizea, Michael, and Priscilla. 3 nieces, Susan, Sherri, and Shelly, 1 nephew, Steven.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Wright, and 1 brother, Harold "Bud" Vanaman.
Funeral services are Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Jeff Mair officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
