Mabel S. Exl, age 100, passed away peacefully Monday, October 7, 2024, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mabel was born January 20, 1924, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Pearl and Edith (Smalley) Suter. Mabel was a Floral Designer for eighteen years with Kellen's Florist in Hobart. She loved her family and will be deeply missed and remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great- grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Mabel will be missed by her son, Paul (Judy) Exl; daughter-in-law Nadia "Nancy" Exl; grandchildren, Joe (Jenny) Exl, Lisa Exl, Michael (Rachel) Exl, Megan (Matthew) Menard, and Kaitlin Exl; great grandchildren, Chelsea (Justin) Grzelak, Abigail Exl, Violet Exl, Pearl Exl, Harper Menard, and Bennett Menard; and great-great grandchildren, Vera Grzelak and Mavis Grzelak; as well as other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Joseph F. Exl; son, Joseph J. Exl; sisters, Ruth Conner and Annabel Underwood; brother Ralph Suter; and other loving family members and friends.

A Visitation for Mabel will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, IN 46342. A funeral service will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 6:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
