Manuel Santana

Manuel "Manny" Rivera Santana, age 72, of Lake Station, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. He was born on January 28, 1948 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Cantalicio LeBron and Emerita Rivera-LeBron. A longtime resident of Lake Station, he could be seen walking everywhere.  He loved music, old movies, his E&J Brandy, a cool cerveza and never met a stranger. Manny was an avid gardener and was especially proud of his tomatoes. He was a decent man and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Lee (Basil) Zervos; grandchildren, Kristina (Violet) Spiroff-Ramirez, Brittani (Austin Brimhall) Toth, Nicholas George Toth and Maxwell August Toth; brothers, Angel LeBron, Alex Santana, Frank Santana, Edwin LeBron, George LeBron; sisters, Eustasia (Carlos) Amaro, Carmen (Manuel) Guzman; numerous nieces and nephews; his beloved screaming Chihuahua, Chico.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Santana; sister, Adeliana Reyes; sisters-in-law, Zeida Santana and Carmen LeBron. Memorial visitation for Manny will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave. Lake Station, IN 46405.
