Marcelino Bravo, Jr., age 90, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso. He was born on November 20, 1925 in Yurecuaro, Mexico to the late and Marcelino and Mariea Bravo. On October 26, 1954, in Dyer, Indiana, he married the love of his life, Amie Perez. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed working in the yard. Above all, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He will always be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Marcelino is survived by his beloved wife, Amie (nee Perez) Bravo; sons, Marcie Bravo, Jr., Mark Bravo; daughter, Nadine Bravo; 6 grandchildren, Michelle (Michael) Hord, Michael (Erica) Forney, Marisa Bravo, Marcus Bravo, Nicholas Bravo, Dylan Bravo; 5 great grandchildren; and sister, Connie Garza.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Mariea Bravo.
