MARCELLA MARTIN, age 78, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Horton VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso. Marcella had been a Hobart area resident since 1956 and was employed at Methodist Hospital Radiology Department in Gary. She attended The Church of God in Black Mountain, Harlan County, Kentucky.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Jack Martin, 2 sons, Rev. Jack Lee (Barbara) Martin of Thayer, MO, Jay R. (Debbie) Martin of Valparaiso, daughter, Kay (Steve) Augustinovich of South Haven, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Willis "Buddy" Bryant and John L. Bryant and 3 sisters, Rosebud Napier, Wilma Ellsworth and Jenell Farley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Craig A. Forwalter, Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
