Marcia Kay Eaton

Marcia Kay Eaton passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Golden Living Center - Fountain view Terrace, LaPorte, Indiana.  The daughter of James and Kathleen (Crizer) Eaton was born August, 21, 1963 in Valparaiso, Indiana. Marcia was a graduate of Portage High School, a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, participated in the Special Olympics, Exceptional Equestrians, and worked at Opportunity Enterprises.Blessed with an outgoing personality, she enjoyed visiting with people, eating her favorite foods, playing Bingo, expertly doing word find puzzles, and loving her cats Cooper and Tucker. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim, and grandparents, Stafford and Ruth Eaton and Daucy and Vivian Crizer. Marcia is survived by her devoted mother, Kay; brother, Michael (Deonna), Nashville, TN; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special aunts, J.R., Joyce, Dawn, and Lisa; special cousin Robin; lifelong friend, DeeDee; friend and roommate, Marie; Tracey and other good friends and caregivers at Golden Living, and her very special friend Stephanie, all of whom loved her dearly. Marcia's visitation will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church, 207 N. Kelly St., Hobart, Indiana , on Saturday, June 2 at 9:00 a.m., followed by her funeral service at  11:00 a.m. Burial will be at McCool Cemetery, Portage, Indiana.
